Mercy Health Foundation came to Catalyst to build awareness and raise money to support the new Family Childbirth and Children’s Center at Mercy Medical Center, a new birthplace for Baltimore’s babies.
The goal of the campaign was to encourage philanthropic support from donors, constituents, employees, and the community at large. After developing a 60-page social media plan detailing Facebook, Causes.com, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Flickr, we set to work on an integrated campaign using both traditional and digital media. Armed with a strong social media presence managed internally at Mercy, Catalyst developed print ads, banner ads, multi-step email campaigns, events, and a microsite to support the awareness campaign.
The creative took an emotional appeal with the birth of a baby being a dream for a parent and Mercy being the hospital to help fulfill that dream.
Why do we rely on Catalyst Communications for our design work? Their team listens, understands our objectives, and translates our thoughts into tangible, useable concepts and strategies—patiently, accurately, on time, and on budget. They’re not just an agency—they’re our business partner.”
